The safety of our guests, owners and employees is of utmost importance to us. In light of this, and in line with the latest government guidelines, we have contacted all customers whose holidays cannot go ahead as planned.

  • England, this is customers with an arrival up to Friday 3th July 2020.
  • Wales, this is customers with an arrival up to Thursday 9th July 2020.
  • Scotland, this is customers with an arrival up to Tuesday 14th July 2020.


Our top priority at Settlers is your health and wellness, it’s the foundation of everything we do. Whilst our focus has always been on keeping our hygiene standards to the highest quality. The recent spread of Covid-19 has enhanced our focus on taking necessary precautions for your health and well being and that of our staff. We have also updated our cancellation and payment policy to help provide flexibility during this turbulent time

We hope you will agree Settlers is still the perfect place to relax and recharge your energy post Covid. We hope the information below provides reassurance that we are doing everything we can to work with you to continue to provide you with a stress free experience.

In line with government updates we are only taking new bookings for the following dates in the following countries:

  • England. We are only taking new bookings for arrivals from Saturday 4th July 2020.
  • Wales. We are only taking new bookings for arrivals from Friday 10th July 2020.
  • Scotland. We are only taking new bookings for arrivals from Wednesday 15th July 2020.

Disruptions may continue over the coming months, with that in mind we have relaxed our cancellation terms. Should travel restrictions be implemented, we will work with you to either move your booking to a later date, or if this is not possible a refund will be provided.

The final balance is usually four weeks in advance of your arrival. We have reduced this to two weeks, allowing for minimum disruption to you should any government changes need to be considered.

Your safety and that of our housekeeping team is our number one priority.

Housekeeping staff have revised their procedures post Covid. Updated training has been implemented, PPE is now used by all. As per WHO all high traffic areas are cleaned using approved disinfectant. Focus on frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned, disinfected, and sanitised.

These are provided and laundered  through a professional laundry service.

Procedures are contact less, you are not required to interact with our staff to access the accommodation.
